2024 AGM Summary

-2024년 11월 28일 ICAAK 총동문회는 주한영국대사관 아스톤홀에서 진행되었습니다
-총 71명의 동문들이 참여 신청을 해주셨고 단 몇 분만 예기치 못한 일정으로 인해 같이 못하셨습니다.
행사 2일 전 모든 신청을 마감하였습니다 (대사관 수용 조건).
-AMBASSADOR COLIN CROOKS (LVO), DEPUTY AMBASSADOR GARETH WEIR님이 참석하셨습니다
-6시부터 리셉션, MAIN행사는 ICAAK 회장의 개회사 후, 7시에 부대사님의 환영사로 시작되었으며,
선행 일정이 있으셨던 대사님은 행사 중반에 참여하셔서 환영사를 해주셨습니다
-2024 추진 체계(ICAAK COMMITTEE) 소개 후 재정적인 지원을 해 주신 PATRON 소개가 있었고
-ICAAK 2024의 구성 배경 및 활동 경과 보고 후 2025년 추진 방향 및 제안에 이어
-참여하신 동문들의 제안 및 발언(VOICE OF ALUMNI)을 통해 발전을 위한 소통을 하였습니다
-IMPERIAL COLLEGE LONDON 역사에 관련된 QUIZ TIME을 통해 모교에 대한 애정을 재확인하였습니다
-즐거운 식사와 BROUGHTON BAR에서 제공된 음료를 즐기시며 모든 행사가 순조롭게 진행되었습니다
-단체 PHOTO SESSION을 마지막으로 21시 조금 넘어서 행사가 종료되었습니다
-본 행사를 실무적으로 지원해 주신 대사관의 박보미나님외 대사관 직원들께 깊은 감사의 말씀을 드립니다

2024 Progress report

 2023.3.10 – Formation of working group (WG) to discuss the “Reform of ICAAK”
 2023.8.7 – E-mail sent out to all Alumni in Korea for suggestions and ideas
 2023.8.18 – Sewon Hwang and Daesung Kim jointed the WG (12 members)
 2023.8.23- Jungyun, Choi is nominated as the President of ICAAK by the WG
 2024.4- Patron group formed (10Alumni), Contribution reached 5M KRW (June)
 2024.6.3- WG meeting to discuss the R&R of ICAAK, ICAAK-DB, and 2024 AGM
 2024.10- Start discussions on PC/Mobile homepage for ICAAK
 2024.10- www.icalumni.kr is voted by WG for the domain name of ICAAK
Domain name acquired for 10 Years, Homepage on-line with min. contents
 2024.10.17 – Invitation sent to alumni for 2024 ICAAK AGM
 2024.11 – Imperial College Alumni Office responded with ICL Merchandise

2025 Plans and proposals

 Develop a new Working Group (WG) for better communication
 New WGs for 2025 – Social, Local alumni, DB, Web page, Accounting, and Communication
 Enhance existing alumni database – automated/robotized method
 Social events – Seminar, Invited talks, Sports
 New patron group for 2025 or regular membership fee policy ? – on-site vote
 Spring gathering in May and regular AGM in November / December
 Donation to Imperial College London
